Who will do the training?

How long does it take?
Classes and training will vary depending on the specific needs of the customer. Instruction can range from a single session to a comprehensive training program. Regardless of duration, course materials can be augmented with technology based enhancements, materials and resources.
How do you assess my training needs?
Our consultants and design team will work directly with you and your technology vendor to ensure an implementation that will both maximize software capabilities and best support existing business processes.
How long will it take to develop a program for my company?
The needs assessment phase typically requires two or three meetings over the course of a week or two. We will meet with your management and implementation team to create a baseline skills assessment as well as a target skill-set. A proposal outlining comprehensive program of needs-based training and support will then be developed, including specific training topics and a detailed design and delivery timeline.
It is a lecture, manual, or online offering?
Through the assessment process, the delivery method will be chosen that maximizes effectiveness and meets clients' needs.
Is the training theoretical or practical?
Both. A variety of teaching methodologies reinforce key theoretical concepts with 'real world' examples to support varying learning styles.
What does the basic program look like? Is there already a platform?
Typically, training is developed in the Master/ Apprentices model (one instructor to several 'learners'), where the 'classroom' can be located at any physical location or online using LMS (Blackboard), Video, or Web Conferencing (Horizon Wimba) technologies. Regardless of delivery mode, materials can be augmented with technology based 'knowledge site' of enhancements, and additional resources. Materials Development 'turnaround' will vary depending on the complexity of the material and delivery media
When you talk soft-skills, are you offering chapters or is it only offered as an end-to-end course?
We'll deliver what you need; individual modules or an all inclusive end-to-end course. Standardized modules can be delivered to cover common topics, or customized to address specific client needs.
Will my company get a discount for sending multiple people through a program?
For the Java Course and for the future Consultant School, we can create and publish fixed prices. But for the custom developed courses, we must understand the scope of the opportunity before we can price it.
If you develop a program that's customized for my company, who owns the intellectual material?
All information that is specific to your company or its business processes is kept confidential. Ownership of the instructional material, methodologies, and activities is reserved for the trainer, but can be negotiated.
Can you come to my company and do the training?
Certainly. Whatever fits your needs.
For enterprise software training like CRM, why shouldn't I just use the provider or my partner?
Your provider's expertise is usually focused on installation and configuration, not training. We can offer customized instructional interventions and focused services that can reveal software features and benefits that your business isn't fully taking advantage of, facilitate the seamless integration of large scale systems into your current business practices, and maximize your company's return on investment.
How do I measure if the training was successful?
In addition to a baseline skills assessment, we can deliver a variety of performance measures that validate trainee progress toward the established performance and skill objectives. Participant satisfaction is canvassed through a detailed and exacting course evaluation process.
